Leaving for Amsterdam :)

Alright!! I'm in Detroit waitin to board the plane to Amsterdam! My longest flight ever! 14 hours!! ;)

Well, in Detroit, I met a really nice girl on the plane here, I rode a tram, indoors (so cool), learned an interesting song called, "three fisherman" (lyrics posted below, haha!!), and ate my last American meal at Max & Erma's. I had chicken Parmesan, hehe. :)

I'm not sure if I will be able to update more in Amsterdam so I'll give u a break down now... I will leave the US at 6pm and arrive in Amsterdam at 8am. Then from there I will have a 2 hour layover and leave for Kenya at 10:30am. :) Finally I will arrive in Kenya at 8pm Dec. 30th. Whew!! Long day still ahead! :)

Its Finally Here!!!

Okay!! Today is the day! Wow! In about.. Hmm... Well, tomorrow night I will be in Kenya!! Yup, that's right tomorrow. It takes about 25 1/2 hours to get to Kenya, and that's NOT including layovers and delays! Crazy!

Anyway, I'm at the airport now bout to get on the plane to go to detroit, that flight only takes about an hour and a half, not bad. I have a layover of about 5 hours tho... That's ok, I brought plenty of books! :)

Well, I guess that's all for now! I'll update you more when I get to Detroit cuz the flight to Amsterdam will be the last time you hear from me until I get to Kenya!! :) (maybe.. I have to see if I get free wi-fi in Amsterdam.)
